As COVID-19 continues to be an uncertain and unprecedented challenge for our community, the Tampa Pig Jig has made the difficult decision to postpone their 2020 events. The health and safety of our participants, guests and FSGS patients remain the nonprofit’s top priority. We look forward to celebrating the 10th Annual Tampa Pig Jig when it returns to downtown Tampa on Saturday, October 23, 2021, in Julian B. Lane Park.
As a not-for-profit event, postponing the Tampa Pig Jig will have an unfortunate and direct impact on the event's beneficiary, NephCure Kidney International. The event’s organizers, the Old Florida Foundation, have committed to continue their pursuit of finding a cure for the rare and debilitating kidney disease focal segmental glomerulosclerosis through an online match campaign.
Every dollar, up to $10,000, donated via TampaPigJig.com between now and October 1 will receive a matching contribution. With double the impact, no donation is too small, and every little bit helps!
